Rory Moore is Accenture’s Innovation lead for Africa and is the Liquid Studio lead for Accenture’s Growth Markets. The Liquid Studios are Accenture’s rapid application development studios. They work with customers to turn ideas into reality aiming at a turnaround time measured in days or weeks instead of months or even years. Rory oversees 10 of these operations across his territories. A key responsibility is bringing Accenture's Innovation Architecture to life through emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cyber Security and Virtual Reality. Rory holds a patent in his own right for a collaborative innovation platform and he has an MBA in Innovation from the University of Cape Town. He lectures at GIBS on the subject of how organisations can radically improve their innovation capability and move towards being an innovative organisation. Prior to joining Accenture, he started and ran an award-winning business called the Innovation Agency, which he grew from three employees to over 60, helping organisations turn their innovative ideas into real projects that delivered results. Rory is married and lives in Johannesburg in a home he shares with his wife and three children. He is a keen triathlete and plays golf whenever he gets a chance!
